With taxes on Added-values rating 5% compared with up to total exemption on specific cases for non-commercial profits or wealth tax exemption, Art is the leading new investment made by the French. The purchase of art works allows to reduce the taxable profits made by a company provided that you :

1/ Purchase a piece of Art work
2/ Exhibit this Art work in an open to public location for 5 years
3/ Register the amount in a fixed assets account
4/ Deduce the purchase price from the 5 coming years taxable operating results subject to a maximum of 5% on turnover (art.238b du CGI).
